The Shape of the Future: 1973 Audi Fox

The B1 generation Audi 80 (1972-1978) was badged as the Fox for the US market, but it was the same two or four door sedan built in Germany. The B1 was designed when Audi was owned by Volkswagen and was a legitimate break from the Auto Union era — it used 4-cylinder engines built by Audi instead of Mercedes-Benz engines like the previous Audi 80 (F103 series) and it sold quite well (more than 1.1 million). However, you don’t see many of these things on the road these days and this one looks ready to cruise around town. Find this 1973 Audi Fox offered for $7,999 in Gilroy, CA via craigslist. Tip from Jason.
