The Saabaru: 2006 Saab 9-2X Aero

Excellent examples of the Saab 9-2X Aero (aka the Saabaru) don’t show up very often, and when they do, they demand a significant premium over the examples with 200K miles and flaking paint. Today’s 9-2X looks good in the photos, but the seller admits that it has chips and imperfections from driving the car around LA. However, I can’t help but wonder if the hood scoop and rear wing are showing the inevitable signs of clear coat explosion that plague this generation of Subaru (ummm Saab) production. Find this 2006 Saab 9-2X Aero offered for $14,000 in Westside Los Angeles, CA via craigslist.

Selling my 5 speed 2006 Saab 9-2x Aero after 3 years of ownership. I am the third owner and have always driven manual cars. This has been my daily since I bought it with 75k miles and has never seen a track or hard use.

The car is bone stock besides a pioneer touchscreen multi-media player and runs perfectly. I have all service records in hand and recently had the car serviced with no issues surfaced by the shop. There are no signs of rear strut-tower rust which were the main issue with these cars. Paint looks great from a distance, but there are a few imperfections and chips from driving the car around LA. Car will come with a second set of winter wheels and tires (never used).

Looking for 14k OBO.

81k miles
5 speed transmission
black on tan cloth interior
Turbocharged 4 cylinder boxer engine, same as WRXs of the same year.
All wheel drive
