The Dodge Intrepid was an entirely forgettable entry into the domestic full-sized front-wheel-drive car circus based on Chrysler’s LH platform. The fact that it was one of the few longitudinal front-engine front-wheel drive non-Audi cars to be built doesn’t mean it is any more remarkable than the fact that it inherited much of its platform from the AMC Eagle Premier. However, everything you think you knew about the styling of the Intrepid is going to be TOSSED OUT THE WINDOW by the builder of this custom Bugatti-styled thing. However, the builder of this car did manage to transform it into a mid-engine rear-drive configuration. This is an awesome looking custom one of a kind mid-engine 2 seater with Lambo doors car. It still needs some things done to it and would be a great project car for someone. I have had this car for 8 years and just do not have the time or means to make it the awesome car that it can be. It has an all aluminum 3.5 liter V6 (sounds great!), independent suspension on all four wheels, four wheel disk breaks, steel tube roll cage through out, rear wheel drive. Cranks and runs great! It needs a new paint job now. I will post some pictures of when I first got the car and then a couple that I took the other day.
