fascinating. this car makes me wonder if there are any who collect cars like The Reaper, of sorts. a collection of vehicles representing the final production models of now deceased manufacturers. imagining, this Saab , studebaker avanti, pontiac solstice …etc.
The Solstice sells for way more than it should leading me to believe there is a market that thinks they will at some point be coveted. There is no other explanation I can come up with for why a car that is significantly worse than the contemporary Miata sells for substantially more. I have also read many ads over the years that list the number built in a given spec, this is a huge red flag to me. Pontiac only made 12 people green Solstice with a blue roof and half tan half black interior!
