Teal Deal or Teal Steal? 1996 Honda Civic CX

I have to admit that I get some heartburn when seeing a 90s Civic that is bidding for almost the original MSRP…but these cars were ridden hard and put away wet by the Fast n Furious crowd, so finding a stock Civic Hatch with a manual gearbox and sweet teal green paint…win win win. Find this 1996 Honda Civic CX bidding for $7,500 in Johnson City, TN via ebay with 1 day to go.

From the seller:

Vehicle Details
Midori Green, rare color. Original except wheels and headlights. I bought this car in 1997, it was garage kept and I’m a lady driver. I hate to part with this beauty, but I bought myself a safer Honda! Still runs and drives great. No leaks of any kind. Does Not Use Oil. Newer battery. The paint is near perfect and shines like glass.

It does have air conditioning that was dealer installed and is still cold.

No frame rust.

Timing belt at 90K.

Interior seats and dash great shape, no rips or tears. One small hole 1/8 inch in back seat. It could use a headliner, it has stains and holes.

Last week, I had the valves adjusted, new cover gasket, changed oil, new spark plugs and axel boot.

This car has a few issues, they are: Needs a new muffler.

Window tint has faded, but no bubbles.

Door panels will bubble in the heat.

Clutch has never been replaced, it’s still good for now.

A couple of dings (see photos)

A small area above the left and right back wheels starting to rust (see photo) it’s not bad.

This car was in a fender bender in 2013 with a random wheel bouncing on the highway. The passenger fender and bumper were replaced with OEM and professionally painted(have receipt).

This car will not disappoint!

I’ve been followed, notes left on it wanting to buy, males saying “there’s a unicorn”! I wasn’t ready to let it go!

I have a clean TN title because the car was over 10 years old when the fender got bent.
