It never fails. I open my big mouth and start gabbering about how “the days of sub $5k classics on craigslist is behind us, we are all going to be leasing electric google-cubes because all the interesting cars are being speculatively purchased/sold on the auction sites that keep popping up…and, lo and behold, the $5k modern classics start flying around the DT tips line like covid19 at a frat party. Leave your solo cups at the door and buy this goldenrod classic before it gets away. Find this 1984 Toyota Celica GT offered for $5500 in Land Park, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Rare A/T Celica GT coupe with an amazing interior! It’s so retro! We fell in love with it immediately!
After purchasing this 1-owner car in Fremont, CA just a month ago, a sudden family issue requires immediate sale. In the month we have owned it, we’ve installed new struts and shocks on both the front and back (much smoother ride now!), tinted the windows, restored the original paint as best possible, and ordered a dash mat for better protection. We also purchased a car cover (included) and had the original muffler and exhaust pipe replaced. Everything works with exception of the cruise control and the passenger side power mirror.
Also, the original radio & cassette player makes too much static to work. I pulled out the fuse to prevent it from constantly making a static sound (like it can’t find a radio station). I was unable to locate a repair service, otherwise I would have loved to have had the original radio working. However, the power antenna does work.
Please examine all pictures (paint is faded on hood & roof.) Please feel free to ask questions.
