Sounds Better Than D21 Truck: 1986 Nissan Hardbody
Whenever I’m in a public place and somebody says, “hey, nice hardbody” I reflexively crane my neck looking for that sweet boxy Nissan pickup…but most of the time it is just some dude on steroids or a lady who spent too much time at a CrossFit gym (sidebar; why do Crossfit gyms always have names that sound like something you wouldn’t want to get as a prognosis from your doctor: I’m sorry Bill, you’ve got change your eating habits, you’ve got a bad case of hermosa beach box. Ohh…is it fatal? No, but if it gets worse, it could lead to boise squats and shots). Anyway, back to the Hardbody– it is the name given to the D21 generation Nissan truck sold from 1985 through 1997 and what this next one lacks in bed space is sure makes up in original clean condition. Whooo oooh. Find this 1986 Nissan Hardbody offered for $4,500 in Ft Lauderdale, FL via craigslist.

.note I had ordered a brand-new front bumper and it is the wrong fit. The reason it would need a bumper is the previous on his foot slipped off the clutch and actually hit it lol. I will definitely include a new one or deductive price that it would cost to replace it it’s just a little hard-to-find right now

Strategically photographed to not show the front in any shot. I’m immediately assuming that there is more damage than just the bumper. Just show me the whole thing and don’t waste my time, dude.
Why is there only one Nissan Hardbody still around for every 1000 Toyota Hilux of the same year still on the road? I thought these trucks were decent, but for whatever reason, they didn’t last. Smaller production numbers for sure, but still, very few left.
