I guess this next car falls under the advice my old man gave me when I was old enough to understand this kinda fatherly advice; If you can’t be smart, be colorful. Not my cup of tea, but how else are you going to get a running ’56 Chevy for under $10K?
I had a 56 Chev 2 door hdtp in HS i payed $250 for it yes it needed somebody work but motor was great 265 V-8 lousy castiron powerglide i converted to a 3speed on the floor with a Hurst Mystery shifter good name for it. Back in the day Guys would take a 4 door wagon and make a shorty out of it. Now there taking 4 door sedan’s and making 2 door’s out of them some look pretty good in fact.But the real deal 2 door’s are plenty spendy these days for decent one. I would take a post but love the Hardtops.
