Seller Submission: 1992 Ford Taurus SHO
This next car comes as seller submission from Nic who writes; I recently listed my second gen Taurus SHO manual for sale, and my friend suggested I forward to you guys (he even sent one of the same color recently posted) Anyways, here’s my link below. My dad bought the car new in 1992. The car has never seen salt and spent its entire life in Oklahoma until I moved it to Michigan in the spring. The car was my primary transit in college, and is in really good (but definitely not perfect!) shape. Definitely sad to see it go but I have a few “toy cars” already and a daily driver. Find this 1992 Ford Taurus SHO offered for $5000 in Ann Arbor, MI via craigslist.

Selling my 5 speed SHO, vehicle was purchased new by my dad and has always been in the family. Absolutely no rust and has never seen salt. Vehicle resided in Oklahoma its entire life until this spring when I brought it to Michigan. Original paint is in good but not perfect shape. No accidents. Mechanically the car is superb, with some upgrades:
-new tires at 100k
-eibach suspension with 1” lowering springs
-poly bushings for control arms
-dynomax exhaust, otherwise stock drivetrain
Sad to see it go, hopeful the right person comes along. Own this piece of automotive history and come up with SHO best puns!

Yamaha could damn sure make some fine engines. The Toyota 2000 GT was pure poetry, the SHO came together like a Shakespearean sonnet, and the chorus of angels that was the Lexus LFA will always remain my favorite automotive sound.
Such a cool sleeper, but so square. Would do serious damage to my self image.
