The Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina was sold new in the USA from 1972 through 1976 (although production ended in 1974, the remaining inventory was sold through ’76). Power came from a 2.0 liter twin-cam inline-4 that used SPICA mechanical fuel injection and sheet metal was thin stuff known for rusting…YIKES! Today’s Berlina has more speed holes than a Boeing 737 MAX but I think the price appropriately reflects that reality. Where else will you find a running Alfa this inexpensive? This is obviously a Berlina, but FB doesn’t allow that selection, so please excuse the title.

I’m regrettably selling my 1973 Berlina. This car has been owned by several enthusiast in the last few decades, and although it’s got a lot of rust on the body, the underside and pan is solid and mechanically is in good shape(except the driver front jack point).

Runs on a 123 ignition, Spica mechanical injection, sport springs and shocks, fuel pump has been properly upgraded to a late model Bosch EFI pump, seats have been recently reupholstered.

I included pictures of all the rust holes, so you know what you’re getting in to. Also has a cracked windshield around where the big gaping rust hole is. This car starts every time and is a blast to drive. I would hop in this car and drive it cross country without hesitation.
