Remember and Honor Memorial Day 2021

Just a short note to DT readers to enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and don’t forget the fallen heroes of wars past and present. “Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.” –G.K. Chesterson.

Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day to honor the 110,000 troops killed in action during the American Civil War. In 1967 the final Monday of May was declared a federal holiday for all soldiers who have died in service.

If you have extra cash from the sale of your rotary powered 4X4 Alfa Romeo Spider, please consider donating a few bucks to a veteran’s charity, like the Wounded Warrior ProjectDAV.org (Disabled American Veterans), or Hope for the Warriors.

Enjoy the weekend!
