This is not an Aston Martin they don’t have a listing for Turner cars.

I am selling my 1959 Turner 950s it is a rare low production British sports car 1 of 183 and believed to be only 1 of 67 still registered.

Fiberglass body over aluminum inner, aluminum suicide doors mostly original with an upgraded 1098cc BMC engine rebuilt by CJ Race Shop and dyno’d at 63.52 HP originally the car’s stock engine only put out 40hp from stock.

This car only weighs 1,156lbs so it is pretty fast and if you watch the video the engine sounds and idles great.

Only a few hundred miles since the car was mechanically restored for the last time in 2015, New tires, ball joints and tie rods look great, shocks and springs in great shape, electric fuel primer for the SU carbs for easy starts, battery cutoff so you don’t come out to a dead battery, 4spd manual trans shifts tight and the clutch is in great shape. This car was made to race everything heavy duty and performance but is still street legal.

SCCA approved roll bars, the car was raced casually from 2012 to 2015 and taken to car shows but the last owner kept the car mostly stock including the interior. The car sports classic Brookland glass windscreens, Smith gauges, 5 point seat belts, and black rally seats in excellent condition. This car rolls on very hard to find original 15″ De Mar knock off wheels with spinners and has a classy Moto-Lita teak steering wheel.

Parts are easy to find, Austin Healey drivetrain, susp, and brakes were used on Turner cars and it comes with a parts interchangeable chart so you can easily find replacement parts.

Restoration pictures, receipts for the performance engine build and the car was dyno’d each year from 2012-2015 all dyno graphs are included, many receipts, new spare flywheel, rear end, carb parts, original steering wheel, original windshield, It has two totes of new and spare parts that come with the car. Original 3″ tube frame heavy duty and rust free.

Mechanically this car is great shape, but the body is showing many scuffs, poor paint(the paint does not look as nice as the pictures) the body work sanding etc is pretty low quality workmanship, as well as a few small holes as pictured old mirrors mount holes the hood has holes where pins used to be to hold it shut but they are long gone and a few small cracks in fiberglass as pictured.

This car starts easy, runs strong, drives great, all lights and gauges work. Clear title in my name. Very rare car that needs a little body work and a re-paint to be a show stopper but the body is solid and the doors open and shut easily.
