The take rate on the manual gearbox for a Toyota Cressida in 1983 was probably higher than you would expect given the fact that most survivors seem to be slushbox equipped. But the cars that haven’t been wrapped around a telephone pole or eaten by salt from winter drifting competitions are going to be the old lady drive autoboxes…but today we’ve got an old school rear-drive Cressida with the hard to find manual gearbox. Find this 1983 Toyota Cressida offered for $4800 in San Jose, CA via craigslist.
From the seller;
1983 toyota cressida
cylinders: 6 cylinders
paint color: brown
title status: clean
Selling my 1983 Toyota Cressida. It has a clean title. It is a factory 5-speed manual. It currently has 121k original miles. Has good condition Michelin Tires. Absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle. Everything works as it should. I have an envelope with maintenance records from the previous owner, who had the vehicle maintained by the Toyota dealership for the last 3 decades.
Overall the exterior is in great condition for a 38 year old car. The interior is in fantastic condition. No rips in the upholstery or broken interior pieces.
I love this car. Only reason for selling is because it doesnt get driven very often anymore.
