Luke Warm Glass of Horchata: 1983 Cadillac Cimarron

Oh boy, the early 80s. A time of big hair, neon clothes, and Cadillac trying to be cool by entering the compact luxury market with the Cimarron. GM was about as successful as selling arms to Iran to fund Contras. Today’s Cimarron is a typical J-body misfit, with a 4-cylinder engine, automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive…and a paint that can be best described as sunrise with no color. Find this 1983 Cadillac Cimarron offered for $2,650 in Burlingame, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

1983 Cadillac Cimaron 4 door Auto sedan. For those of you old enough to remember, the Cimaron was Cadillacs effort to break in to the luxury compact market. It didn’t work out too well and the rest is history. Certainly makes for a rather rare and interesting car though. Not too many survivors . This one has been local all. Of its life, no rust , decent paint interior and runs ok too.recent,y passed smog and currently licensed with clean ca title. Interesting computer, asking $2650. For more info/pics, email or call. If it’s posted it’s still available. When answering this ad please leave contact info for a reply. Thanks for looking.

Well, at least with the Cadillac your engine was the Iron Prince of Wales.
