Laundau Rover: 1990 Pontiac Bonneville LE

There was a time when a full-size American sedan didn’t need to pretend it was tuned on the Nürburgring, luxurious, or European adjacent, it just needed a sofa-like ride, a trunk that could swallow furniture, and an engine that would outlive its owner. This Bonneville is exactly that kind of honest Midwestern hero, powered by GM’s legendary 3800 V6, an engine so durable it has probably already survived at least one transmission, three owners’ neglect phases, and several economic recessions. Find this 1990 Pontiac Bonneville LE offered for $3300 in Ozone Park, NY via faceville bonnetiac. Tip from Cory.

Damn right about that transverse V6 3800. Late in its life, had a 96 buick Regal the GM badge engineered Lumina base with the “de-Buicked” rubbermaid dashboard. the series2 3800 mill was by far the best thing about my only GM to date.
