Kawasaki Powered: 1990 Geo Metro LSi

There are sleepers, there are wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing builds, and then there is this Geo Metro, which has apparently been fed MountainDew-infused rum cake after midnight, exposed to gamma radiation, and spliced with a Kawasaki ZX-12R for reasons science explicitly warned us about. What began life as a disposable commuter has been hollowed out, Rhino-lined, afflicted with Lamborghini doors, and stuffed with a 12,000-rpm motorcycle engine driving a Miata rear end via a sequential gearbox, which is exactly the sort of sentence that should not exist and yet absolutely does. Find this 1990 Geo Metro LSi offered for $10,000 in Antioch, TN via meltface microwavebook. Tip from Greg.

Seller’s description
this is a highly built Geo Metro with a Kawasaki ZX12R fully built engine redlines @12k Car sits on Mazda Miata rear end with Mazda Miata rear brakes and suspension. the car is built 100% correctly with reinforced subframe in the rear, and mated with the six-speed sequential shift transmission.. the Kawasaki dash cluster is mounted in the dash with fully functional brake lights headlights and turn signals. it has Lamborghini doors and ram Air on the roof. this car is very fast and very fun to drive, it was built over 6 years. I have owned a lot of very fun cars but this one takes the Cake just because it is so unique and so different, the outside is fully rhino lined. $10,000 or best offer or trade for something cool. the only reason I’m selling it is because I do not have anywhere to store it anymore and I do not want it sitting outside. please don’t waste my time with negative comments, this car is funny and unique and it gets more looks at car shows and then most of the other cars.

THAT … is an aspirational price.
Hope springs eternal.
Excellent write up. Made me laugh.
