Grandma Spec: 2002 Lexus ES300

If you are in the market for a $5K commuter car, I can’t recommend early 2000s cars enough. They were built before complicated pieces of engineering like variable nozzle turbochargers, direct fuel injection, and expensive-to-replace digital dashes took over. (And don’t get me started on CANBUS taillamps or some of the digitization that is making car maintenance a nightmare.) Early 2000s simplicity, Japanese reliability, cheap price, let’s go! Find this 2002 Lexus ES300 offered for $6000 in Beverly Hills, CA via facemilk twotonebook.

Seller’s description
Hey everyone, this is my grandmas Lexus. She is too old to drive it and unfortunately we need to sell it. The car runs and drives perfectly and she gets it serviced regularly. The car only has 78,713 miles and still drives like brand new. It’s a clean title and single owner car. The registration is current also. She got sick last year so she put the car on non operational and hasn’t really been driven ever since. There is no money owed on the tags since it was put on non operational last year. We are located in Beverly Hills so please let me know if you’re interested and want to come check it out.
