Go Turbo Xpress: 1988 Mazda 323GTX

This 1988 Mazda 323 GTX is what happens when Mazda builds a rally homologation special and then lets it loose in a Tennessee yard with four Hella lights and a Megasquirt homebuilt DIY ECU. It comes with Factory AWD, turbo, manual, big intercooler, HKS whoosh noises, and just enough broken 1980s electronics to keep the driver humble. This is an example of an old-school analog car that can be fixed with pliers and a screwdriver…and you will need to fix it from time to time. Find this 1988 Mazda 323GTX offered for $7500 in Hillsboro, TN via faceplant gtxbook.

Very rare Mazda 323 gtx. Factory awd turbo.
Very few were made even fewer brought to the US.
Car runs and drives great. But is not perfect.
Cons:
-digital tac on cluster is inoperable.
-Windshield cracked
-Has been repainted sometime in the past, not that well.
-some dents and dings. It’s a 40yr old car.
-passenger window don’t roll up from driver switch. You gotta lean over and roll it up lol
-fuel gauge reads but is inaccurate. (1/2 tank is empty) ask me how I found that out…
Pros:
-runs and drives great would drive anywhere.
-has a few cool performance upgrades(hks blowoff valve, big inner cooler, megasquirt ecu, aem boost gauge)
-cool turbo noises
