I’m feeling in a Z-car mood today, partially because I just discovered that you can’t buy a new Z from Nissan for the 2021 model year as they’ve discontinued the Z34 generation 370Z and will replace it for the 2022 model year with something called simply the Z. Power will come from a twin-turbo version of Nissan’s legendary VR engine, which puts the turbo back in Z and everybody should be happy. Find this 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo offered for $7000 in Santa Cruz, CA via craigslist.
From the seller:
1984 nissan 300zx turbo
cylinders: 6 cylinders
paint color: silver
title status: clean
1984 Nissan/Datsun 300zx z31 turbo $7k OBO
Runs and drives great, turbo has a nice boosty swoosh sound
Very clean interior and decent exterior (solid 15 footer)
AC works great
Tires have plenty of life left in them
Has cool 80s features
Comes with some spare parts
Clean title and registration just paid for last week.
Selling because I bought a VR4 and sadly don’t have the driveway space for another car, I’d love to keep it but it’s gotta go. I’ve used it for around town cruising mostly.
