Fun Daily Driver: 2005 Acura TSX

After mentioning in the last post that a late model TSX was probably a better car versus a 90s Ford Taurus SHO in every possible measure except style…I decided to put my mouse where my mouth was (does that expression work…or keyboard where my mouse was…I dunno…I’m gonna work on that one) and feature a late model TSX. Here ya go, better than the SHO in acceleration, speed, braking, turning, reliability, and usability. Find this 2005 Acura TSX offered for $5000 in San Francisco, CA via craigslist.

2005 Acura TSX 6 speed all original. This TSX runs great with no mechanical problems whatsoever. The exterior is in pretty good shape considering its age with no fading clear coat or large dings in the bodywork. The inside is likewise in great shape with minimal wear on the seats, and only a small tear on the rear driver’s side seat bottom. This car is kept up to date on all maintenance as my daily driver. Registration is good until August 2021

My wife and I have decided to sell it because we are looking for a camping outdoorsy vehicle like a honda element. Therefore, unless you have a manual 4wd Honda Element, we are not open to trades.

Some of the relatively recent maintenance that has been done to the car includes:

Clutch replaced 20k miles ago
New A/C compressor 2 years ago
New starter 2 months ago.
Rear brake pads replaced 10k miles ago
New front brake disks and rotors and brake fluid flush 200 miles ago.

Please call or text if you have any questions, thanks!
