When someone calls their Corvette a “FlatVette”, you instantly think of the Jerry Palmer and Dave McLellan designed C4 Corvette that is the flattest of all Vettes. However, today’s FlatVette comes from the C3 body style…complete with the swooping fenders and haunches you’d expect from the Stingray. However, today’s Flat comes from under the hood because, for whatever reason, somebody shoved a Ford Flathead V8 under the ffiberglass hood of this plastic bumpered C3. 1978 corvette with a full house flathead ford motor -flat-vette
Listed 2 weeks ago in East Wallingford, VT
aluminum heads, 3 deuce intake with 3 stromberg 97’s. pertronix ignition, power windows and steering, centerline style wheels with vintage sun-spec spinners, new blue-tooth sound system, needs new carpet installed, (included), t-tops, heat and air, (air not charged), t-5 five speed, 10″ gm rear. custom “flat-vette” badging front, rear, hood sides and motor. draws a crowd every time, not really sure other vette owners appreciate it! for some reason couldn’t get the “automatic tranamission” description out of the “about this vehicle” section; it’s for sure a 5 speed.
