DT Login and Registering Issues Resolved
DT readers — Apologies for the issues for the past few weeks regarding logging in, registering, and resetting passwords, et cetera. DT was using a themed login page with a free plugin for about 10 years, and it intermittently stopped working. Even I couldn’t log into DT as admin. Naturally, this happened while I was overseas on a trip for my day job and in a country that I had blocked from the server side due to scammers/spammers…so I had to log into my web host, unblock that country, and manually disable the defective plug-in via FTP file access. Unfortunatley this meant that all of the pages & links to register/login etc were now obsolete since they went to the plug-in, so I had to manually fix them. I finally did that this week. Quite the detailed WordPress account update page but I did what I do best and ignored everything.

Thank you for the feedback, everyone. Today I’ve made changes to the spam filters that should make it easier for y’all to login and comment. Fingerscrossed that it makes it easier and not harder. I was having issues with AI bots crawling the website to the point that I was running out of server bandwidth for real human beings…so I had to tighten down security. Thx, Vince
