DT Email Blast Update
Hey DT Readers — the Google Feedburner application that we’ve used for years to send out the daily email blasts has been discontinued by Google (thank’s Goog) and is dead effective today. Unfortunately, this means that we need to transfer the hundreds of daily DT email readers to a new platform — probably MailChimp or MailPoet. Daily emails won’t work until we get the new system online and up, so hang tight. Any suggestions of advice – hit us up at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks – DT E-i-C Vince.

Hello everybody, my name is Serialshd, and I am a spammer.
But I am sorry for my spam and I promise to do better in the future. I spam because I never knew my mother and my father was not around much because he needed to work 7 days a week to support our entire family as a boot polish tester at a factory that was many miles from our family home. I started spamming when I was 13 years old with a few simple emails and then I spiraled out of control after I figured out how to do spam for blogs. Now I’ve been clean of spam for the last 3 years, but I published this spam comment yesterday when I found myself alone in front of my computer. And I am ashamed.
You can tell when I have a ton of paperwork to do, because I now have some interesting info to share about the UK’s only boot polish factory in Derbyshire [pronounced “darby” not “derby”]…
Grangers International is proud to have helped waterproof the first Everest expedition, British Second World War tents and the canvas of Landrover soft-tops. “We like to be known as the protectors – guarding, protecting, proofing, repelling and preparing. Our products have even been used in the film industry – our waterproofing products played a part in the unforgettable Alien chestburster special effects of 1979, and in the famous big lobster tank scene in Mission Impossible, the 1996 American spy film starring Tom Cruise.”

When I read lobster tank I was thinking something like this.
My wax cotton Barbour jacket could use a refresh , perhaps they could supply some of the magical goop?
Here’s the stuff… Nikwax
My jacket is less waterproof than it was 10 years ago.
On the other hand there is a certain demographic of women in NYC who want to smell your wax jacket when you wear one, so will it still smell like a Barbour / their riding instructor at boarding school or whatever? That’s important!
Finally got around to ordering it, thanks for the tip.
That there is a rare insect lobster. 6 legs. See also the 4-legged ants in Antz and A Bug’s Life, and the 4-limbed folk in the Avatar ecosystem of hexapods. Silly humans.
