Dogs Love Trucks: 1964 International Harvester C-900
The International C-series pickup in the 1960s offered more utility and truckness than the next best alternative from GM, Chevy or Chrysler. The C-series pictured here (I believe it is the short wheelbase C-900, but it could be the C-1000) has a giant Freightliner-sized windscreen and an interior that provides more form than function. Nothing cosmetic or comfort was added to the C-900, but it makes such a rad piece of steel today such a statement in the world of comfortable cars that can’t do work. that is 1 terse ad for this unusual rig. based on the pics, seemingly, propane fired trucks dont require batteries to start. Left in for… ballast? Discuss. Even with that gimongo tank in the bed, remaining space back there dwarfs nearly all modern pickup box capacities & with a low load-in height that does not require basketball center height to place things in from the side.
Glad someone else had the propane question. Feels like an odd thing to gloss over.
