Fun fact, an amazing number of bits and pieces interchange with British sports cars of the 60s 70s on account of Nissan licensing Austen IP. Actually more interesting to folks looking for parts for a British roadster. Dual circuit brake master cylinders for example.

Period road tests always pointed out that the windshield was ludicrously tall on the later years, and there was speculation that there was some very important tall person that precipitated the giraffe spec redesign.
Car and Driver contemporary test of the 2000 Roadster, which had roughly the same proportions, called it a “giraffe carrier” due to the high windshield and tall top. (Wish my short-term memory was this good).

Agree it’s a death trap. You fall into the trap of buying it based on asking price and apparent condition, then the wife finds out . . .
