This car has been rolling for 40 years; with some regular maintenance and maybe a paint respray at some point, it could roll on for 40 more.
Growing up a friend’s dad had one of these and it was an absolute tank. Same color so the nostalgia is strong for me on this one. Throw a dash cover on it and drive it for a billion miles of comfort.
Calif plate starting 9 makes this a recent addition. Older German plate makes me wonder about the old overseas delivery program or with so many miles, was it a taxi? Can’t be more than 5 miles from my shop.

Great. Resisting the urge to gentrify it. Removed a trash bag amount of twigs, nut shells and rat poop when I pulled the dash to fix the heater core!
