Cool Shoes Bro: 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel

Sometimes wheels ruin the look of a car…and sometimes they take it to the next level. The Ronal R10 Turbo wheels on this next car are a considerable improvement over the typical stock steelies you’ll find on a diesel Rabbit, and you might forget how stupifiyingly slow the car is when you look at those wheels. Find this 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel offered for $7000 in Chula Vista, CA via craigslist.

Werner Heisenberg:
The position and the velocity of an object cannot both be measured exactly, at the same time, even in theory. The very concepts of exact position and exact velocity together, in fact, have no meaning in nature.

Got it!
Speaking of slow. I just picked up a 1983 Toyota Diesel Longbed 5-spd. It’s got an 2.2 liter L engine in it. Somewhere around 60hp. It is surprisingly fun to drive. In that it requires all your attention all the time. No screens, no separation from the road, not even any annoying distractions like a tach, or a clock. Just all driving all the time.
