I’m no expert on motorized bicycles…but I can tell when something cool, unique, or interesting pops up. This BMW K1 is an example of something that screams “90s RAD” from the top of the rooftop. The K1 used a unique engine layout with its water cooled 4-cylinder engine laid on its side with the crankshaft by your right leg and the pistons/valves on the left. The K1 had a 95 horsepower, so it wasn’t slow, but with a hefty 571 lb curb weight (before driver) it was not as fast as some of the competition that made 125 hp from similar 1 liter engines. However, the visually exciting fairings covering the entire bike lead to overheating and potential driver burns, which I guess is a plus if you are into that kinda thing. MAKE AN OFFER! Really Nice Condition BMW K1, with quite a few upgraded parts. It has a staintune muffler, Ohlins rear shock, rebuilt front forks, custom ignition chip, new injectors, some comfortable bar-backs, and a set of factory soft luggage not pictured. It also has its original motorcycle cover. The odometer says 65,000, but true mileage is closer to 25,000 as the whole unit was replaced by the previous owner. Comes with maintenance logs and paperwork. My Dad loved this and all it’s 100 HP but I got him hooked on UJMs and we’re out of space so he’s ready to let this one go.
