Cheapest Mustang? 2005 Ford Mustang
Strange times breed strange markets. Who’d have thought that the best deals in a Mustang could be found in the early versions of the S197 6th-generation Mustang (2005-2009)? These are getting cheap, even cheaper than Fox Bodies or SN-95 Stangs and I’m happy about it because they are a good looking machine offered for cheap. Tipper Barbpaddles sent in a white 06 offered for $4100 and I said to myself; “Self, I can find something cheaper.” And behold: Find this 2005 Ford Mustang offered for $3,100 in La Puente, CA via craigslist.

Not that sure a $3000 car with lien on the title is _really_ cheaper than a $4100 car in the clear.
My daily driver is an 07 mustang with 132k miles on it. Runs like a champ. Excellent cars.
