Big Ducts: 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo

The Porsche 924 Turbo isn’t an expensive car when crossing the auction block nowadays, particularly in comparison to the 911 or anything with more initials behind its badge. The Porsche 924 was first released in 1976 as an example of what a simple engine and light chassis can achieve together. Unfortunately, a decent quantity of negative press has been heaped on the Audi van/sedan engine used to power the lithe little coupe…but in 1979 Porsche was kind enough to introduce a turbocharged version with a few more ponies and a sweet NACA duct on the hood for extra emphasis. Good looking 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo with sport package (4 wheel discs, 5 lug hubs, 18” rims) and A/C. Car is in very good condition. Work in last several years includes Koni shocks, water pumps, oil separator, timing belt, clutch master & slave cylinder, fuel pump and fuel sender, fuel filter,née hoses, ignition wiring, K&N air intake, rear hatch shocks. Car runs and drives excellent.
