When I tell people that I’m a fan of cheap cars, they might consider this next car to be a good example of what I’m talking about. Except that I want cheap cars…not cars that are just cheap to buy, but also cars that are cheap to run. A mid 2000s Jaguar…this could cost something to repair. But at least it shares parts and platform with the Ford CD132 Mondeo, so the 2.5 liter AJ-V6 shouldn’t be the worst engine you’ve ever had to maintain. But I’m going to assume that someone in the comments can tell us if this is a good or bad idea based on personal experience. Find this 2005 Jaguar X-Type offered for $2300 in Chicopee, MA via craigslist. Tip from Cory.
