Almost Old Enough To Drink: 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C5

This next car met the criteria for featuring on DailyTurismo for two reasons; first (but not primarily) is that it is the cheapest C5 Z06 I’ve ever seen for sale that wasn’t wrecked, and second (most certainly primarily) is because it is located in the town of Pflugerville. Say it out loud; Pflugerville. If this is not a made up name of a town, I don’t know…welp…duckduckgo says it is indeed a town in Texas named after the German word for “ploughman,” but I’m pretty sure that if I was a supervillian I’d claim it as my home town. Find this 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 offered for $11000 in Pflugerville, TX via craigslist.

I have a 2001 Corvette Z06 that I am selling. It is a high mileage car with most miles being on the highway. The car has the typical C5 Corvette driver seat bolster wear. Rear window tint is bubbled up. The headlights, radio, HVAC, power seat, transmission and cooling system all work. They are common issues with a C5 Corvette. Tires are in good condition.

I do not need help selling. NO TRADES. Cash is the only form of payment that will be accepted.

I live a couple hours away from Pflugerville and it’s legit, LOL. Small town.
Gotta love the good ol’ LS!
There’s something satisfying about seeing a Corvette with high miles and honest wear. So many of them just see occasional weekend duty and get detailed after every trip around the block. This car was used and probably enjoyed the way it was built to be. I would enjoy adding more miles to it myself.
I really like the roofline of the Hardtops C-5 wish they carried it over to the C-6 . I prefer the looks of the C-5 compared to the C-6 but hate the interior cheapness of C-5’s just not sure i could put up with GM aka General Mess. Having owned mostly Japanese car’s last 40 years with a Mustang 5.0 put in the mix.
