A Geo By Any Other Name: 1987 Suzuki Forsa

This next car comes as a tip from David S who writes: Geo in Suzuki Costume. Sure a Geo is a Suzuki…I honestly think the world’s a drearier and more uninteresting place since honest and cheap sporty cars like this vanished. Indeed, the world of new automobiles is turning into a dreary buffet of self-steering pod things, but you can drive something vintage and cool if you are willing to deal with the downsides like needing an extra one for parts. Find this 1987 Suzuki Forsa offered for $8000 in Kissimmee, FL via faucibook maskplace.

Wow, for 8 grand I would rather drive the sbc RX7 and have change left over for fuel.
Kissimmee? I hardly know you!
Price might be sorta high, but when has anyone last seen one of these looking this minty? Not in the last decade. This is a classic case of “I could buy such-and-such for that money” but if this is specifically what you’re looking for then it seems like a reasonable price. Except for the steering wheel, I’d chuck that.
Now if I had to choose between this and a Turbo Daihatsu Charade, that would be a tough choice.
I have a soft spot for those at lower prices, though I do suppose this is a two-fer. Isn’t that pre-Geo, however?
