Electric Lizzie: 1914 Ford Model T

The Ford Model T hot rod is an iconic car — and not just because it revolutionized automotive production technique, but because old Henry Ford put 16 million on the road at a time when the horse was still running around and cars were things for rich people. You don’t see many original Tin Lizzies on the road today, but you will find the occasional customized version waiting for maintenance. Today we’ve got an electric conversion that needs new Nissan Leaf battery modules to get back on the road. Find this 1914 Ford Model T offered for $6300 in Monterey, CA via faceT modelbook.

I don’t know why I like this except that I have driven a Model T in Los Angeles about 20 years ago. It was not an enjoyable experience in any traffic. This would be a fun afternoon cruiser and $3000 of 48v LFP rack mount batteries with 20kw would give at least 80-100 miles of driving which is a lot more than I would ever do in a day. But disc brakes only in the rear?
