6.2 Diesel Swapped: 1980 Chevrolet Caprice

At first glance, this looks like a clean, church-parking-lot Caprice Classic, but the surprise comes when you learn it is packing a swapped-in 6.2-liter GM diesel and a freshly rebuilt 700R4. That combo turns this big tan B-body into a torque-happy, long-legged cruiser that reportedly returns around 25 mpg on the highway, which feels wildly wrong in the best possible way. This was the Caprice that your mother warned you about. Find this 1980 Chevrolet Caprice offered for $8,500 in Berlin, CT via faceburn dieselbook.
