West Rats vs East Fungus: 1977 Mazda Cosmo vs 1966 Chevrolet Impala

If an oil burning Mazda isn’t your style, or you are afraid of rats, perhaps a long neglected Impala Coupe (or is this a hardtop…some classic American cars are difficult to determine coupe vs hardtop). Find this 1966 Chevrolet Impala offered for $3900 in Ft Myers, FL via craigslist.

66 Chevy Impala project will need restored , has drive train but I have not had a chance to see if she runs . I have extra parts to restore on a separate deal

Which would you pick? East Coast fungus or West Coast rat? tips@dailyturismo.com
Like them both, but Cosmo is cooler on so many levels.
I pick the one w/ the least rust. If both are same rust-wise? Impala all. day. long. It’s about parts availability, part prices, and online support. This explains why I bought a ’74 BMW 2002…
