Wolf In Pigs Clothing: 2004 Pontiac GTO

The late model Pontiac GTO (technically a 3rd generation Holden Monaro) was simultaneously lauded for being a rip-roaring hootenanny of an LS1 powered beast and maligned for its staid styling. It is the exact opposite of Pontiac’s G6 GXP, which was a exercise in unhinged styling with a ho-hum V6 pushing around the front end…which is exactly why I’d much prefer a GTO over a G6 in any shape, even with some bumper rash. Find this 2004 Pontiac GTO offered for $6,750 in Canton, GA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

2004 Pontiac GTO, black/black, 6-speed manual, 115k miles, clean title in hand. Thinning the herd, too many cars! A great daily driver GTO, good tires, cold AC, runs like a top but needs rear brakes and it sometimes grinds going into reverse, depending on how the gearshift lever is positioned when reverse is engaged. All stock, no mods, a few dents and dings, driver’s seat leather and all of interior in good shape, except that top of rear seats has sun damage/pulled threads (common GTO issue), please see pics. Recent full inspection and service (brake fluid, throttle body & injector cleaning, differential & transmission flushed/refilled, power flushed/refilled cooling system, synthetic oil & filter). Just passed emissions 3/4/21. Please feel free to text (or call and leave message as I typically won’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognize) for more info/pics, but be forewarned that I will only negotiate price once you’ve seen the car in person and have test driven it. NO I don’t need help selling it so please don’t waste my time or yours trying to do so. $6750 cash only no trades.
