Wires With White Walls: 1967 MG MGB

If you are a fan of classic cars that aren’t total rusted barn finds, but are projects that could use some mechanical sorting (keeping the bidding down)…well, you might want to stick around for this next one. Find this 1967 MG MGB bidding for $5,105 with 2 days to go located in Aguanga, CA via ebay.

The whitewalls are correct and VERY cool!
It’s probably not a bad project car to finish up, but the current high bid is as high as you’d want to go before you’re guaranteed to be in it upside down. Lots left to do and as a driver-quality resto, it’ll only be worth a few grand more when finished. For a proper “show” restoration, you’d need to start over. If I was bidding on this as a driver, I think I would have tapped out at $5K.
At $5k, plus the prices of the bits and pieces needed to complete one can purchase a 5 year old restored with perhaps 3k added once completed for slightly more. ie: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-mg-mgb-57/
