Wiki Tiny Fastback: 1984 Chevrolet Chevette Custom

It isn’t often that I’m at a loss for words…but here I am. Stunned into complete and total silence. The car we have today has me completely flummoxed. Bamboozled. I feel like I’ve just gone 3 rounds with Mike Tyson after drinking absinth. But I’m still alive and just a little bit intrigued. Could I buy this and get it into the next 24 Hrs of LeMons race in class C? Would I still be alive after the race? Isn’t it a CHVT?
One seat is all that’s necessary. No one would want to ride with you.
I would totally drive this to Cars n Coffee.
… and then go to a Shriner’s parade. I figure we could get at least 23 clowns in there…
-Stan (who is a clown in his off hours…)
Aw, Stan, don’t sell yourself short. You’re a clown in your on hours too! 😉
That is so cool. But it looks like maybe they started with a Cavalier?
I must say, the builder made an interesting (wise?) choice by keeping the rear doors and roofline and ditching the front doors. By chopping out the front, they’re able to avoid modifying the larger front doors to work with the rear wheels. The downside is that it makes for awkward A-pillars… not that that’s the only awkward part here.
