What Am I? A Time To Vent
It is Monday morning, so time for another visual puzzle, a mind bender known as the What Am I?. I still can’t believe how quickly Fleetwood T Brougham solved the Zimmer Golden Spirit from last week — so this time I’m going for a closer crop. What Am I?
Comments below.
BONUS ROUND!!
Pretty sure that's the climate controls from a BMW Z8.

FTB — If you get the next one I'm going to ninja edit the photo in the post to something else!! Good job!!

and I promise to take the next two weeks off from this….it's a lucky streak. 😉
brother, i know how hard this can be – one thing i tried to make the guilt easier to bear was to post my own whatsit photo (not *my* whatsit, yeesh) here in the comments – something i thought people would have a hard time guessing… only to have K2 ID it 11 seconds later
FTB — let's see if you can win the BONUS ROUND.

Apologies for the snark (not my intention here), but you're welcome, Québeazay. Ruining fun is my jam.
I accept bit- and z-coin bribes on Thursdays.
Buick Lacrosse rear seat entertaiment? (hey, I gave it a day before replying)

Nah, the screen is right, but the seat is wrong…..narrowing search to GM now though.
Ok, changing guess to Cadillac SRX

Getting warm….
CT6?
Saab 9-4x
Yes, it is the 9-4X — which was the corporate sibling to the SRX and the only Mexican built Saab. Something like 500 were built for the 2011 model year.
Ok, I'm going obscure here….Saab 95?

I'll give you another hint. You've probably never seen one of these on the road.
Buick Envision?
Saab 9-4X?
Saab 9-7? – but i've seen those o_O
Great job FTB — I never doubted you for a minute! Here is the actual Saab 9-4X that the above pic was borrowed from.
I'm gonna find something unpossible for next week!!
-Vince
Yeah, surprisingly attractive for its ilk, certainly moreso than its GM kin.
But the 'GM kin' part is the problem.
The 9-2X and 9-7X were just wrong.
They were both very nice, more attractive than their WRX and Trailblazer production-line-mates, but they were not Saabs and not competitive with the other makes Saab was supposed to be competing with, would have been competing with had in the mid '90s GM been able to deal with the capital investment needed to make Saab competitive at the Audi/Volvo/low-end Lexus level.
So, maybe good used-car buys as long as the parts supply holds out, but a b-school case exercise in how NOT to buff your brand.
i'm still bummed one of the last rumors around the Saab demise didn't come true – which was that BMW was considering rescuing them as their down-market-one-notch brand – Saab had or was planning to use BMW engines at one point, iirc, so it wasn't even especially far-fetched – so instead we have BMW diluting itself to fill every niche, meh

Is that a Sunroof or a Solar Tanning Bed ?…..
