VF Stage 2: 2004 Volkswagen R32
This next car comes as a tip from Sean S who “swore off VWs and Audis but this is awesome.” Personally, I’ve swore in and around VW/Audi product, but never off, because you never know who your friend are until you own a late model VW/Audi! Find this 2004 Volkswagen R32 offered for $7000 in Oxnard, CA via craigslist.
From the seller:
Immaculately maintained, VW Mk4 R32 50 service records (yes, 50) including Haldex system flush at 40k and 80k. Goodies include:-VF Engineering Stage 2 Supercharged with Intercooler and Injectors (350hp)-VF motor mounts-GIAC tuning software-FK Coilovers with new rear shocks-HPA Short Throw Shifter-Magnaflow exhaust-New rear brakes, performance drums and pads-3 keys included-Clear Headlights -Smoked indicators-Super dark presidential window tint-oil changed 750 miles ago, Mobil 1 I can not emphasize how well and responsibly this R32 has been maintained… “Babied” would be the term I would use. Normal wear-and-tear issues, front driver’s seat for example, which is common. Overall I’d give the inside and outside cosmetics an 8 out of 10. Air dam inserts will be include in purchase, as well as 3 sets of keys and original shifter components. Mechanically in excellent shape, I would confidently drive it cross-country tomorrow.

I was so excited about the snail under the hood I didn't pay attention to the location.
There is no place in Oxnard that remotely resembles the location of the ad.
Not sure where it is.
Yeah, def. not Oxnard. Could be Ojai or something, but that's a stretch.
No indication of mileage, but that seat wear looks like there has been a lot of in and out traffic.
For a second there, I thought that you were describing my ex girlfriend!
Mileage shown on the photo of the odometer is just shy of 94K miles. And yes, the description is of your ex girlfriend, now my ex, and there has been a lot of in and out traffic by me and many others–which is why she is now your ex's ex.
I read this as " window tint oil changed 750 miles ago".
Yeah, the window tint oil is a scheduled maintenance item, usually at the same time as the blinker fluid!
Do you use synthetic for your blinker fluid changes? I am never sure if it will dry out the seals.
Yeah you really don't want to make a left in traffic signaled by a bunch of drunken seals. I upgraded to sea lions, easily worth a few extra clams.
