Upscale and Downmarket: 1995 Mercedes Benz E320 Wagon
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class isn’t quite the same luxury status symbol that it used to be (BMW, Audi, Lexus, Tesla et al have certainly gained in the mind of the 1% where Lincoln and Cadillac have faded) but there was a time when driving a W124 meant you were somebody. Or you were driving somebody around because these were popular around the world as taxi cabs. A few decades later and now anybody can own a W124 with nice examples going for not a lot of cash. Find this 1995 Mercedes Benz E320 Wagon offered for $6500 in Anaheim, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

That interior is probably the nicest I have ever seen in a car this age. Amazing…
I don't often comment much on cars that are just plain sweet.
But this one? Damn.
-Stan (the owned-a-classic-Benz-never-again Stan…but I still love this car)
These are rock solid good looking cars. Just one thing about them, that automatic transmission has a limited life. I think the number is somewhere in the 150K to 200K range for when reverse goes out. And about $2500 to replace.
And credit MBTex for the interior. Magic material. Never ages.
Ditto on the MBtex for long lasting durable seat material. fyi Is available by the yard for reupholstery projects ..
I hate those steering wheel toupe' like covers. Just buy a second hand wheel on ebay for around a hundred clams and install in minutes
