Unique Kit Car: 1969 Group Six Fiber G6

The G6 (Group of Six) was the unofficial name for the collection of head interior ministers for the biggest players in the European Union, which included Germany, Italy, France, Poland, Spain, and the UK (before Brexit). This super powerful group of shadowy big state puppet masters met in the steam filled saunas of private resorts and puffed on Cuban cigars while deciding what the price of fuel should be next week (spoiler alert, it is going to cost more than last week), but that isn’t the G6 we are talking about today. The focus of this article is a car called the G6 that was produced by Group Six Fibers out of London. This G6 is a reasonably priced, but extraordinarily rare kit car that rides on a VW chassis and is powered by a Chevrolet V6. Find this 1969 Group Six G6 offered for $12,500 in Santa Barbara, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Don’t forget this G6. My daughter used to play this nonstop.

Looking at this, I can’t help but think of the unfortunate Consulier GTP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consulier_GTP). Even though this G6 has the fit and finish of a home-made boat, it’s easier on the eyes and better proportioned than the GTP.
I’d drive this, if only for the fact that it’s probably the only one around. But I’d sure want to inspect every inch of it and know what Chevy V6 is being used before plunking down 12 grand for it.
I was doing OK until I got to the interior shot of the driver’s door. Ermagherd.
A question: I couldn’t read the name on the right rear.
Is it Lolita? Or Lobsta?
To put it differently, is this a pedophile cruiser, or something that turns red when it overheats?
Either way, I’m a bit skeeved.

I think it needs this paint job

I am sort of curious how the builder widened the front track of a 1969 VW suspension, it’s not like you can just cut the torsion bars in half and stretch them. If they went with wheel spacers increasing the scrub radius will certainly make driving a slow car fast just that much more exciting.
