Rare 1984 Toyota Camry Turbo Diesel. 1.8 Turbo charged four cylinder. Manual 5-speed transmission.195K total miles. Car was imported in through Canada. i am second owner. Bought from original family that bought it new. Was used as a daily car for many years and then stored away inside for several years. Brought out several years ago and it was decided to restore the ole girl. so at 190K, the engine was completely rebuilt along with the clutch, brakes and so much more. She was taken in and professionally repainted in the original color. No rust was present at all and still is rust free. Seats were redone, upgraded stereo system was added and new tires. Stored again for a few years and i bought her. I added a new battery, complete service front to back. oil change, new shift cable, complete service of the AC system, and much more regular maintenance. Can get in a drive anywhere today wo issue. 35-50 Miles per gallon. last fill up was 44 in town. Plenty of power for interstate driving etc. The Turbo is ready to go with traffic. She starts on a dime. everything works as it should. Even the original clock keeps perfect time!!! Cruise does not work but has been gone through and was found to have a Federal recall still open to fix the problem. But hard to find a dealer with the part. But is still an open recall.Could stand a carpet cleaning. its in very good shape but has some small stains or spots. Should clean up with professional shampoo. Get in and drive anywhere. She now has 195K miles on her but needs nothing.
