The Bradley was nearly the most common kit car of the 70’s, competing mainly against Manx and Gazelle for the attention of VW owners who hit it big. While the Bug was the embodyment of the ’60’s, Bug based kit cars allowed those owners to switch to the next decade’s achetype without actually changing vehicles.

Our seller claims that the motor has been newly rebuilt, a claim that seems to be substantiated by parts underhood that have yet to be sprayed with petroleum distillates and mud. He does say, however, that the motor leaks oil and idles high; two problems which if were as simple to fix as they sound, the owner might be more discerning with his considerations for trade.

With the exception of the tape deck mounted a-la Lincoln Capri headlight, the interior retains its original naugahyde, straight from the trim shop in ’74. Everthing looks to be screwed together and in decent shape, which is better than what we see with most kit cars found on craigslist.
