Too Late For Halloween? 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

This next car comes as a tip from Matt C who writes: First there was the ’56 Chevy shortened to two doors – now, if you want a complete tri-5, here’s another way to bring the price down to $10,500: a custom build that really, really didn’t age well. I’m guessing a late ’70s build. Yup. This car is an example of when a builder makes a car the way he (or she) wants it to be with very little care for what someone else make say. Good for him. Find this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air offered for $10,500 in Newport, KY via facecensoring makingstuffup.

Thanks for making me puke on my phone, Vince. Better that than my keyboard I guess.
Looks like they stuck a 55 Buick dash in the poor thing. Guess they wanted to desecrate the entire GM line.
I hate to say this……as it betrays a momentary lapse of taste……..but I’m strangely attracted to the back end treatment. Wait………….that doesnt sound right. Let me rephrase this. There’s a certain design integrity to the stacked rectangular headlights and the boxey back end . The limousine treatment of the rear roof will make the driver feel like a chauffeur!. The indoor outdoor putting green carpet has to go. Now.

That thought is spot on. I wish I could buy it, burn it, and crush it. shudder
