Thursday Twister: Shifty Shifters
Welcome to the pre-Friday celebration known as the Thursday Twister — where we twist the limit of your car knowledge with a quiz about arcane car knowledge. Today’s topic is the manual box shifter — which is normally located on the floor (oohhh…sporty) or on the column (meh, snoozy)…but sometimes it is stuck elsewhere. Find all the cars where the shifter is somewhere odd. Hat tip to Mrkwong for the idea.
I’ll start out with this fine piece of French engineering — the Renault 4 GTL — which uses a mid-front setup with the shifter (and purse holder) mounted in the center of the dash.
No rules today, just post one unique shifter car per comment below.
1..2…3…grind some gears.
citroen deux chevaux also has it coming out of the dashboard.
Dang, you beat me to it!

And from inside:

@Bobinott, I'm just proud I could spell Deux Chevaux, and not Doo Chavoo!
Mahindra KUV100. Sticks out of the vertical part of the center console:

Alfa Spyder? Not the new one. I'll pick a year, '76 but as far as I know they went back a long time.
Citroen Traction Avant:

The early (1974ish) Renault R5 had a shifter that came out of the dash as well.
There are some fantastic push-botton setups from the 50s and 60s including this (probably) '57 Chrysler:

Oops, you are looking for manual transmission only, eh? My bad.
Vector W8 – shifter is on the rocker between the driver's seat and the door.

That is just bizarre. It is like Vector was trying to build a Saab supercar.
Tucker
Technically column mount but definitely not meh

Spyker C8
BMW Isetta …to the left of the driver, kinda coming out of the side panel.
How about pre-war race cars?
Bugatti had them outside of the body work.
Some of the Alfa singles seaters had them between the drivers' legs.
Honda Elefent has the shifter in the center of the dashboard, just below the radio. It feels odd to reach up to shift, but it's so smooth that you get used to it quickly.
