Thursday Twister: Class of 1993
With the dropping of the New Years Ball in Times Square on January 1, the roll over of the yearly odometer brings a fresh crop of 25 year old crocks legal for import into the Land of the Free. NHTSA’s 25 year rule makes anything from class of 1993 eligible for E-Z importation into the U.S.
For this week’s twister, what 1993 would you guys bring in?
Me, I’d bring in a Lancia Delta Integrale like the 1993 Evo 2 above the fold for sale in the UK at POA (meaning I can’t afford it).
Add your choice of formerly forbidden fruit from 1993 in the comments below.

An early FD RX7 RZ (needs more TLAs!).
Whatever version Evolution was available at the time. Maybe Evo IV?
R33 Skyline.
This was soooo Bangle even before Bangle was into being Bangle

While I would probably go with one of the aforementioned JDM vehicles, an Alfa RZ might fit the bill as well.

Oh crap. I've been waiting for this year. Too bad I've been too busy to notice it actually came. Time to go shopping for a TVR Griffith 500.

I was thinking Cerbera myself, but that’s still a couple years hence.

Next year….1994 Audi C4 S6…two years S6+…fugetaboutit.
To be sure, the date is based on when the vehicle was manufactured, not the model year…
Close enough for government work when creating a Thursday Twister…
I'll say a 1993 BMW M5 Touring (wagon) with the Euro-only 3.8L, since it's such a damn unicorn here.
Or maybe a Ford Escort RS Cosworth?
