Three MGs: 1967 MGB, 1972 MGBGT, 1977 MGB

The optimism in this advertisement is amazing. Let’s analyze the seller’s words; “All appear complete” — that’s good, complete cars are better than those missing engines, etc, but we need to get deeper into the details and understand why they appear so dirty in the pics…”but guessing will need work.” Guessing. I don’t like to guess when it comes to the condition of a car, but I do love the asking price for these next three cars. Find this 1967 MGB, 1972 MGBGT, & 1977 MGB offered for $1250 each in San Diego, CA via craigslist.

Complete
adjective
1. having all the necessary or appropriate parts.
“Chocolate Frosted sugar Bombs can be part of a complete breakfast”
2.(often used for emphasis) to the greatest extent or degree; total.
“San Diego is adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, of which the capability of dissolving English sheet steel is complete.â€
Looks like each is simply a replacement body shell from being a complete car.
I guess.
These are parts cars for anyone but the extremely adventurous. Given that, these prices are fair but by no means a bargain. Any parts pulled are going to need significant reconditioning. Restoration of any of these will sink you.
Just for clarification, the blue GT is the 1967, the green is the ’72, and the dark red is the ‘77. Your best ROI for parts is with the GT. I hate to see any parted out, but it’s better than rusted to dust and crushed.
Two aspects of the 67. The GT looks so good. And the 67 was the last of the steel dash, I think. Love the steel dash.
Just here to say that the missed headline opportunity was ‘Three MGs and one DJ’

You might be able to create a single running car from this collection, assuming you could source enough PB Blaster and naval jelly. But from my point of view, this listing is an answer to an unasked question.
