They’ll Be Green With Envy: 1995 Ford Taurus SHO

Ladies and gentlemen, gather round, for I have stumbled upon a true gem of a car: the 1995 Ford Taurus SHO MTX. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “A Ford Taurus? Really?” But hear me out, because this is no ordinary Taurus, this is a Super High Output Taurus, or SHO for short. And let me tell you, this baby is ready to party. First of all, let’s talk about the engine. This Taurus is packing a 3.0-liter Yamaha built V6 that produces 220 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. That’s more than enough power to turn even the most boring of grocery runs into an impromptu street race. And with a 5-speed manual transmission, you’ll be able to feel every rev and shift like a boss. Find this 1995 Ford Taurus SHO offered for $4000 in Seekonk, MA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Car has 124,000 miles and is a 5speed (MTX). Full leather in great shape as well as exterior paint shines and shows very well. I’ve owned this car since 2019 and has been a summer weekend toy always parked in garage. Not many around so if your looking for one this will not disappoint. I have original factory slicer wheels as well as a set of Fondmetal 19in wheels that have brand new Firestone Indy 500 tires on them. Also have few spare parts to go with the sale.

Great video – I haven’t forgotten Ford’s lackluster followup to the SHO, but I didn’t realize exactly how competitive the 1st gen was to the very best that BMW and Ferrari had to offer.
Naturally, the ad’s already gone. Somebody somewhere made out like a bandit.
Looks great and, knowing nothing about Taurus SHO values, $4k looks like a good deal to me. Gotta love that 90’s teal green, every third car back then was painted in a similar color. Until they weren’t. That tide ebbed as fast as it came in.
